Boil Water Advisory Instructions

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If your service area has been placed under a Boil Water Advisory, DO NOT DRINK THE WATER WITHOUT BOILING IT FIRST.

Bring all water to a boil, let it boil for one minute, and let it cool before using, or use bottled water. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, bathing, and food preparation UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. Boiling your water kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.

WHAT IS BEING DONE?

Samples will be collected for bacteriological testing to determine if the Boil Water Advisory will be lifted, results will be determined in 24hrs.
